Quick and Green Chili Recipe


Ingredients
* 1 pound pork shoulder, cut into bite size cubes
* 2 tablespoons flour
* 2 tablespoons cooking oil
* 1/2 cup onions, chopped
* 1 garlic clove, minced
* 1 can tomatoes (16 oz), coarsely chopped
* 28 ounces canned diced green chilies
* 1/2 teaspoon cumin
* 1/4 teaspoon oregano
* 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
* 2 cups water
Directions
1. Coat meat with flour.
2. In a deep skillet, brown meat in oil.
3. Add onion and garlic. Cook 5 minutes or until onions are tender (but not brown).
4. Add flour and stir to dissolve in oil
5. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, 5 to 10 minutes more or until desired consistency. Serves 4.
